4. Google Tools and Client Platform Access
In the course of providing services to our clients, we access and interact with several Google products on behalf of and with the authorization of our clients. These include:
- Google Search Console: We access performance data, indexing status, and search queries to monitor and improve organic search visibility.
- Google Analytics: We access traffic, behavior, and conversion data to measure the impact of our work and inform strategy.
- Google Business Profile: We manage listings, respond to reviews, update business information, and track engagement metrics such as calls, direction requests, and bookings.
We access these tools only with the express authorization of the client, typically through delegated access or by being added as a user to the client's account. We do not access client Google accounts without permission. Data obtained from these platforms is used solely to perform and report on our services. Each client's use of Google products is also governed by the applicable Google terms of service and privacy policy, which we encourage clients to review.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on a limited set of third-party service providers to operate our business and deliver our services. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes. Each provider is bound by its own terms and is expected to maintain appropriate security measures.
6. Data Retention
We retain client data for the duration of the active engagement and for a period of two (2) years following the termination or completion of services, unless a longer retention period is required by law or is reasonably necessary to defend against potential legal claims. After the applicable retention period expires, we delete or anonymize the data.
For prospective clients who submit a contact form but do not engage our services, we retain the submitted information for up to twelve (12) months to allow for follow-up communication, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us as described in this policy.
Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained by Google according to its own data retention practices. We retain aggregate analytics reporting for as long as it remains useful for understanding our website performance.
